A Hard Couple Of Months

 

Hi,

 I know that everyone thinks that I have dropped off the face of the earth but I have just had so much going on and it has left me drained. By the time that I am ready to post I don't have the energy to do so. I don't even know where to start so much has happened.

 I am not sure if I posted it or not but I was in the hospital for several days. I lost a couple of days because I don't remember anything other than what I have been told but apparently I passed out and Courtney called 911 and they carried me to the hospital where they found that my kidney was sepsis and I was very ill. To make matters worse the paramedics had to take me to a different hospital rather than the one in my network and Courtney wasn't listed there as my next of kin or emergency contact but she did get in touch with one of the head nurses and gave her my medical history and medication list and I have made sure that Courtney is listed as not only my emergency contact but my daughter.  (Which is not a lie). That story is coming up next.  Anyway I got the care that I needed and I had a very sweet roommate who's daughter told me about her retina specialist so I called when I got home and made an appointment and I am so glad that I did. We did a different procedure which was some drops in the eye and I had to keep my head down for the entire day. It was something to do with the retinas and I didn't have to have a eye injection so that was pretty awesome for me.

My son Matthew and Courtney got back together. They worked out their problems and I was so happy and I think that I posted about him asking her to marry him. They have been planning away for their wedding nexf July. But lots of things can change because we now have my 10 year old grandson living with us. Matthew had been trying for years to get custody of him and the authorities contacted Matt that he needed to come and get him immediately. The funny thing is that on that day Matt arrived a day early and his receiver accepted his load a day early so he came home and picked up Celeste to go and get Alex and they were about half way when Matthew got the phone call. He said I am on my way. I really hope that everything works out good for him. This child has really blossomed in the short time that we have had him living with us.

 Today is the first day of school and Alex had to miss it. Legal stuff so he has been excused but it is going to put him a day behind and I am sorry for him for not being able to be their on the very first day. But it will work out the way that it works out.

 I hate this laptop. I am about ready to wipe it clean and start completely over with it. There really isn't anything on here that I can't replace. I am so tired of trying to work with my scrapbook program and it has just been a headache trying to work on it and so Courtney said to wait until she gets a little free time and we will wipe it clean and start over with it. I have read the user manual back and forth and it is not covering the problems that I am having with it. My old laptop was working fine right before I moved to Reno but once I booted it up it took a day and a half to come on and it is running so slow that I can't change from one program to another on it and I am very upset about it. Obviously it has problems. Jonathan said that it sounds like it caught a virus and I said well of course. That is just my luck. I have some scrapping elements and a couple of kits on it that I really would hate to lose but the day I was going to back them up is when I noticed that the laptop was running sluggish and I didn't back them up. So I think that I am happy in one way because I could have infected my external hard drive with something. 

 I have to go. I have a doctor appointment today so I have to get in the shower and get ready so I hope all has a fantastic day. Hugs to all and Blessed Be. BB
